On May 23, 2021, at 2:06 pm, our dear wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Maria Magdalena "Nena" S?nchez-Dimas passed away. After a long fight she passed at the age of 68 in a hospital located in Los Angeles.
She will be forever cherished and remembered dearly by her beloved husband Ram?n Arturo S?nchez Arreola; her Father Pablo Dimas Mart?nez; her children: Elizabeth V?squez, Delia Hern?ndez, Guillermina S?nchez, Roberto S?nchez, Ram?n "Junior" Arturo S?nchez, and Sophia Lizette Dimas; her surviving siblings: Carlos Dimas V?squez, Bel?n Dimas Medina, Pablo Dimas V?squez, Adelita Dimas V?squez, Pedro Dimas V?squez, Maria Azucena Dimas V?squez, Ponciano Dimas V?squez and Guadalupe Dimas V?squez; as well as many grandchildren and remaining family members who ask our Lord for prayers for the eternal rest of her soul. They now send her off with heavy hearts to reunite with her beloved mother, Alberta V?squez, her sisters Josefina Dimas and Maria Luisa Dimas, along with her niece Ruvi Dimas Garcia.
On behalf of her remaining family, It is an honor to have had her in our lives as a beautiful example of what a mother, sister and wife should be. We thank our Lord for gifting us with her presence and ask Him for guidance in keeping us united and with strength in her memory. With much love, we now let her rest in peace with her loved ones, but she will always live in our hearts and best memories forever.
She will be remembered with great love, as the incredible and carefree dancer she had been in her youth. She was someone who without hesitation or complaint, extended her hands to help her loved ones at any time. A bright and loving sister, capable of filling you with never ending laughter, jokes and delicious food in a short moment. She was a brave, resilient and hardworking mother, who on behalf of her children is seen as a great example of a strong woman. She will always be remembered and loved for being the greatest sister, a special and tough loving mom, and a grandmother and great-grandmother who gave her everything while asking for nothing in return. Although her warm and loving presence will be missed now that heaven has called her home, her spirit and legacy will continue living inside our hearts forever.
Darlene Mendoza, granddaughter of Maria Magdalena "Nena" S?nchez-Dimas, shares a few last words in the memory of her cherished grandmother, "I can't describe my grandmother in just one word. She was everyone's everything. She did whatever she could to help her family without thinking of any selfish thoughts. She cared for her grandchildren and great grandchildren like her own. The things she did for her family are unexplainable. She was truly our hero. Her home was everyone 's home and it won't be the same without her. I know her spirit is with us and I know she'll be shining the light on the right paths for all her grandkids. I know it must hurt her to be away from grandpa now but we want her to know that we'll be down here taking care of him for her, always."
