Marguerite Mary Dawson, 95, of Poolesville, MD, passed away on June 26, 2024.
She was the loving wife to the late Dr. Victor Charles Douglas Dawson.
Born on March 19, 1929 in Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Rocco DeLuca and Jennie Deroma.
Marguerite was a loving wife to Victor, and a wonderful mother to her 5 lovely children, grandmother to 19, and great-grandmother to 46. She also had the privilege to become a great great-grandmother. Marguerite was a devout Catholic and active member in her church and community.
She is survived by her daughters; Michelle Dawson Powell, late husband, Dr. Victor Powell, Joan Marie Henry, husband, Richard, Celeste Pridemore, husband, Fred, Maria Stanton, husband, Joseph, Regina Winovich, husband, Edward, 19 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends from 10 AM - 11 AM on Tuesday, July 2nd at Our Lady of the Presentation, 17220 Tom Fox Ave, Poolesville, MD 20837, where a Mass of Christian burial will be held following at 11 AM. Interment will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, July 3rd at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906.
