Margaret E. Tedder, 75, a longtime resident of Salem, NH was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of 52 years; John "Jack" W. Tedder III on Friday, July 16, 2021, with her loving daughters by her side. She was born in Lawrence, MA, daughter of the late Hugh and Margaret E. Davey.
Margaret was a devout Catholic who was an active member of St. Joseph Church in Salem. She was the matriarch of her family. She loved her vacations with her family in Salisbury and her grandchildren were her angels in her life. She loved cocktails and dinner with her daughters. She had an amazing ability for turning life's simple moments into crazy and comedic adventures that will surely be missed.
She is survived by her two daughters; Tracey Wilder and her husband James of Salem and Wendy MacCormack and her husband Bobby of Westford, MA, her four grandchildren; Aliviah, Jack, Bo and John and also by her sister; Theresa "Tre" Dow of Derry, NH. She was predeceased by her beloved husband; John "Jack" W. Tedder III in 2013, by her step-son; John W. Tedder IV and by her brother; Hugh "Buddy" Davey.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday; July 21, 2021 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday; July 22 at 11:00am in St. Joseph Church, 40 Main St., Salem. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, 329 Main St., Salem.
