Margaret "Peggy" (Chambers) Plunkett, 89, of Palmetto, FL passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Braden River Rehabilitation Center. Born May 15, 1932, she was the daughter of the late William and Rose Chambers. Originally from Woodbury, NJ, she was an executive secretary to a Naval Captain and retired as on office manager for Komatsu parts in West Deptford, NJ. After retiring, she moved to Sun Key Village, Palmetto, FL. Peggy embraced life, enjoying travel and cruising. She was very patriotic and a dedicated Republican.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Plunkett and her brothers, William, and Robert.
She is survived by her stepdaughter, Deborah (Robert) Gillock; her stepson, Thomas (Maureen) Plunkett, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and her loved canine, Sami.
Private arrangements have been entrusted to Skyway Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens.
