Margaret Eloise Field Plautz was born November 18, 1929 in Houston, Texas to Harry H. Field and Helen Schroeder Field of Alvin, Texas. Margaret passed on to her Heavenly home on August 10, 2024. She was preceeded in death by her son, Clinton Wayne Plautz and her husband, John (Tinker) Plautz. Margaret was a long time resident of Alvin, Texas, where she met the love of her life, Tinker, in first grade. They married October 10, 1957 in Alvin. Margaret was a homemaker and an accomplished artist. She and Tinker enjoyed art shows and buying and selling antiques. Margaret was active in the Alvin Art league. When Tinker retired, they moved to Fredericksburg, Texas to enjoy the rest of their 65 years together, hunting, traveling, painting, and antiques. Margaret is survived by two nieces, Patricia Denney of Fredericksburg and Sharon Sembera of Alvin, three nephews, Mark Denney of Fort Smith, AR, Christopher Sembera of Bayou Vista and William Sembera of Alvin. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, September 14 at 10 AM at Greenwood Cemetery under the pavilion in Fredericksburg.
