Anne was a chorus and elementary school teacher, and in the 1970's started the first public school guitar program in the state of Virginia. A fantastic cook, Anne's crab cakes were a divine treat when visiting her off the Rappahannock River in Urbanna, VA. She volunteered with the Women's Club of Urbanna, her favorite events being the Oyster Festival and decorating the town each Christmas. Anne lived young at heart with a fantastic sense of humor and enjoyed doting on her dogs. After suffering a severe stroke in November 2020, Anne resided at A.G. Rhodes Wesley Woods in Atlanta, GA. The family is grateful for the care and compassion shown to her, and especially to staff members Patty, Heather, Crystal, Mulu, GiGi, Kay, Georgina and Beryl .
