Margaret Ann Mangiante, life long Memphis resident, went to heaven on the 20th of July, 2018. Born on the 4th of September to the late Sylvester and Mildred Jacobi Bargiachi, Margaret was a homemaker and helped at the family grocery. After her family, her secondary joys in life were her church, cooking, gardening and playing Bocce. There will be a funeral mass on Wednesday, July 25th beginning at ten o'clock in the morning at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with a gathering thirty minutes prior. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery and Msgr. Val Handwerker will be the celebrant. Beside her parents Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Mangiante in 2011 and her only brother Joseph Bargiachi. She is survived by her daughter Mildred "Mimi" Schmitz (David); son Gene C. Mangiante (Carol); grandchildren Drew Schmitz, Elizabeth Schmitz May, Gene Mangiante, III, and Anne Fortwengler; and eight great-grandchildren Sam, David, Adam, Audrey, Micah, Will, Michael and Sadie; and her nephew Charles Bargiachi.
