On April 11, 2021 Margaret Ann Holtzclaw 77, of Hamilton VA. Passed away at home with family at her side after a short illness.
Margaret was born in Preston County West Virginia to parents George and Kathleen Fitchett of Terra Alta and has lived in Loudoun County VA most of her life.
Margaret worked for Loudoun County Public schools in the maintenance Department for several years and was admired by coworkers and staff at each school she served.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband James (Jimmy) Holtzclaw, two sisters Jane Fultz of Terra Alta, Barbra Cole of Sterling, VA.
She is survived by Her son Jeffery (Jeff) Holtzclaw Sr,
(Christina); daughter, Angela Maddox of Harpers Ferry, WVA; Grandsons Jeffery Jr., Codey and Chaise of Laurel, MD.; Brothers, Elmer and Chester (Jessica) of Terra Alta, WVA, Wayne (Debbie) of Leesburg, VA., Grover Fitchett of Bruceton Mills, WVA; Two sisters Wilma (Robert) Tasker of Reedsville, WVA., and Linda DeWitt of Terra Alta, WVA; As well as many nieces and nephews.
Margaret was raised in a humble home filled with Laughter, Song and music, but most of all love. She was well known for her fine cooking but mostly her homemade rolls and beans.
Margaret loved spending time with the grandsons who adored her. She always looked forward to visits from her son Jeff, sister Skeeter and brothers Wayne and Chester who would come to visit often. She truly loved all of them and looked forward to these special times. On a typical day she could be found watching the birds eat from the bird feeders, spoiling her puppy Missie but her most favorite thing to do would be to watch her westerns, especially the Virginian.
She will be missed by all who she loved and who loved her.
