Margaret Mary Boissoneault, 91, of Manchester died on April 20, 2022, at Maple Leaf Health Care Center after a period of failing health. Margaret was born in Concord on March 7, 1931, the daughter of Omer Boissoneault and Anna (Riley) Boissoneault. Margaret attended McDonald Elementary School before attending the St. Joseph High School for Girls. She worked for 45 years as an operator for New England Telephone. She was a faithful parishioner of St Ann - St. Augustine Church in Manchester. Charitable, kind, and devoted, Margaret was a true friend to many in the community. With a twinkle in her eye and a funny story to share, she was always a coveted guest at family gatherings. The picture of good cheer with her hair worn in an artful French twist, she often donned a charming hat, a sparkly holiday pin on her lapel and a large purse promising special treats and treasures for friends and family members. Margaret loved the beach and spent many vacations with her sisters on the shores of NH and Maine. She was an avid reader, knitter, and cribbage player. In years past, she spent long, laughter- filled evening playing the card game of Michigan with her aunts and sisters. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her.
Margaret is survived by her sisters, Mary Prince (her twin) and Ann Lachance both of Manchester, her cousin Margaret (Blanchard) Rosen of Struthers, Ohio and several generations of nieces and nephews. Margaret's family would like to extend a special thank you to all those who care for her while she was living at Maple Leaf Health Care Center. You are all very appreciated. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Ann- St Augustine Roman Catholic Church, 382 Beech Street, Manchester. Burial will be private for family. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contribution be made to St. Ann-St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church, 382 Beech Street, Manchester, NH 03103.
