Marek Zbigniew Polowy, husband, father, brother and a proud grandfather passed away on February 6, 2021 at the age of 72. He was a resident of New Britain, CT for 33 years. Marek is survived by his wife, Henryka (Walczyk), his children Agnieszka (Polowy) Wichowski and Wojciech Polowy, his grandchildren Justin and Aleksandra Wichowski, and sister El?bieta Rogowska. Marek was born in W?gorzewo, Poland on November 16, 1948 to Tadeusz Polowy and Zofia (Rutowska) Polowy, lifelong educators and survivors of WWII. He graduated as an Agricultural Engineer from the Agricultural and Technical Academy in Olsztyn, Poland and held a number of directorial positions in Ciechan?w and M?awa before moving to the Unites States. Marek ensured his family's future by making the decision to move away from his friends and family in Poland and giving up his career to start a new life in the United States. He worked as a machinist to pursue the American Dream and strived to ensure that his children were able to obtain degrees without debt. He took great pride in his kid's success. Marek was a loving husband and father, and was most proud of his children, watching them grow-up and start families of their own. He enjoyed taking vacations with his wife, fishing, watching sports, relaxing with his trusted puppy Moose, and spending time with his friends and family, especially with his grandchildren.
