Manuela Levario Vargas passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on Friday October 7, 2022 at 8:20 in the morning.
Mrs. Vargas was 77 years old, being born on July 13,1945 in Luis Leon Chihuahua, Mexico to Alvina Palacios Levario and Luis Aguilar Levario.
Manuela (Mannie) attended Texas area schools in Ft. Stockton where she earned a Ham Communications License and worked in accounting in the shop at Belding Farms.
Manuela married Francisco M Vargas in 1964 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Ft. Stockton.
They had one son Francisco L Vargas born in 1965, shortly moving to Odessa, Texas.
Mannie was a homemaker and served her community being involved as a CCD teacher attending St. Joseph and St. Anthony's Catholic Churches. She also was a parent volunteer serving in Child Abuse Prevention Program at Zavala Elementary School.
Having hobbies in hairstyling and floral arrangements she volunteered her services for quincea?eras and weddings.
Mannie will be lovingly remembered by her family & friends.
She is preceded in death by her son Chuy, parents, brother Ramon and sister Maria Teresa.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years
Her first grandson Rene and his wife Brittney and Brittney's siblings whom she loved and cared for deeply
Her grandson Kristoff and his daughter Ariel
Her Siblings Luis Levario Jr. of Odessa, Texas
Margarito P Levario & Cita Moreno both of San Angelo, Texas
Her sister Clara L Diaz from Ft. Stockton
Numerous nieces and nephews
Mannie will be forever lovingly remembered and missed.
A visitation will be held at Odessa Funeral Home 1700 N Jackson Ave Odessa, Texas 79761 from 9:00AM -9:00PM with a Rosary at 7:00PM. Services will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church 1321 W Monahans St.
Odessa, Texas 79763 at 10:00AM followed by a burial at Ector County Cemetery 300 S Dixie Blvd Odessa, Texas.
