The family of Manuel Jaramillo is deeply saddened to announce his passing on October 23rd, 2021 at the age of 90 years old. He joins his beloved wife, Ramona A. Jaramillo in eternal peace, and will be lovingly remembered by his 5 children, Manuel Jaramillo III, Jos? Armando Jaramillo, Ramona Mancha, Leticia Francis-Barajas and Rosie Miller; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Manuel was a proud Korean war veteran, spent many years working from the bottom up to Superintendent of the Ford Motor Stamping Plant in Chicago. He fought for the rights of Hispanic farm workers during the era of Cesar Chavez. Though he spent many of his late years fighting Alzheimer's disease, he will be remembered by his family as a strong, charismatic, and formidable person.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 2:00pm - 9:00pm at Del ?ngel Funeral Home, 3611 N Taylor Rd Mission, TX 78573. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place Friday, October 29, 2021 at 9:30am at Del ?ngel Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at RGV State Veterans Cemetery of Mission.
The Rosary, Funeral Service and Graveside Service will be live streamed via Facebook Live. A link will be provided on Mr. Jaramillo's page on funerariadelangelmission.com.
