Magdalene M. Tatter, 93, went home to be with the Lord on February 28, 2021. She was born December 19, 1927 in Buffalo, NY to Joseph and Rebecca Eibner. She attended Taylor University, worked for the Firestone Office Federal Credit Union and was a member of Riverside Alliance Church. She was an accomplished violinist and at age 17 performed at Klienhans Music Hall in Buffalo, NY. Magdalene and her husband Wilbur served on the mission field for three years in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
Magdalene was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 57 years, John Wilbur Tatter; and daughter, Manci Rebecca Tatter-Myers. She is survived by her son, John D. (Jonie Adams) Tatter; daughter, Debbie (Jim) Cox; brother, Joseph Eibner; son-in-law, Collin Myers; grandchildren, Sara (Mark) Baxter, Andrew Myers, James Nicholas (Jennifer Harrison-Cox) Cox, and Caroline (Greg) Shepler; great-grandchildren, Felicity, George, Gavin, Piper, Lennon and Ellis.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riverside Alliance Church, in memory of Magdalene. Condolences and memories can be shared with the Tatter family at the funeral home website.
