Madonna V. O'Hare, 81, of New Lexington, Ohio died on Sunday, Aug. 22, 2021 at the Highland Oaks Health Center, McConnelsville, Ohio.
Born June 3, 1940 in Shawnee, Ohio to the late Burdette and Mattie Hogsten O'Hare. She was a member of Saint Rose Catholic Church; played and enjoyed softball; loved to work even as a small child and on up, and liked to grow flowers.
Survived by her sister, Leila Compston; seven nephews and two nieces. In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Altier and brother, Charles O'Hare. Calling hours will be held from 5-8 p.m. with Wake Service at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 25 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 26 at Saint Rose Catholic Church, corner of North Main and West Water Streets, New Lexington, Ohio with Father Chris Yakkel as celebrant.
