Madeline Ruby Noble, formerly of Pittsfield, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 30, 2022. Born on August 12, 1926, the daughter of the late Everett and Ruby Winters Sykes, Madeline attended Pittsfield schools and graduated from Le Baron Hair Dressing Academy.
Madeline's kind smile and bright eyes lit up the room, she was loving, sweet, and funny. She spent much of her time creating ceramics and shopping with her daughter, Patricia Kilmer. A dedicated Grandmother, she cherished time spent with her grandchildren, Jason Kilmer (Carolyn), Joshua Kilmer (Amanda), and Jamie Kilmer (Dylan) and her eight great-grandchildren - Riley, Caden, Kieran, Madden, Emerson, Jackson, Wes, and Shaun.
In addition to her daughter and grandchildren, Madeline leaves several nieces and nephews.
Madeline was predeceased by her husband, Milton Noble, as well as her sons Thomas Jr. and (baby) John Curran, her son-in-law Bruce Kilmer, her grandson Shaun Kilmer, her brothers Harry, Art, and Everett 'Bub' Sykes, her sisters, Gwendolyn Stevens and Betty Lou Loehr, and her former husband Thomas Curran Sr.
Funeral Notice:
Funeral services for Mrs. Madeline Noble will be Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at 11 am at the Dwyer-Wellington Funeral Home, 220 East Street, Pittsfield MA 01201, with the Rev. Steven Montesanti, Pastor of Sacred Heart Church, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. The family would like to extend a warm gratitude to the staff of Mount Carmel for their loving care of Maddy and would, therefore, suggest that donations in her memory be made to the Mount Carmel Care Center, Activities Department.
