Mrs. Mable Wilson Marshall departed this earthly life on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, in Sumter, South Carolina. Born on May 10, 1952, in Mayesville, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Nathaniel Wilson Sr. and the late Helen Davis Wilson. Preceded in death by two brothers, James Wilson and Nathaniel Wilson Jr. A nephew Vincent O. Thomas.
Mable was educated in the public schools of Lee County, where she graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School Class of 1972. Mable began her Christian walk at an early age and joined Ebenezer A.M.E. Church in Mayesville, South Carolina. She was a member of the gospel choir, the Missionary Board and dedicated worker at the Ebenezer Food Pantry. Mable enjoyed cooking, talking with family and friends, and reading her bible daily.
Mable’s wonderful memories will always remain in the hearts of those who loved and cherished her, husband Harrell Marshall Sr., Sumter, SC.; her two loving sons, Marvin (Denise) Wilson Sumter, SC and Harrell (Bethany) Marshall Darlington, SC; her seven loving sisters, Pearl Wilson New Haven, Ct, Gladys Thomas Mayesville, SC, Georgianna W. Dixon Mayesville, SC, Thelma W. (Robert) Frierson Tampa, FL, Betty Jean Wilson Columbia, SC, Evelyn (Melvin) Plowden Mayesville, SC, and Jannie Mae Singleton Sumter, SC; her four loving brothers, Buford (Sandra) Wilson Mayesville, SC, Richard Wilson Mayesville, SC, Robert (Elizabeth) Wilson Oceanside, CA and Thomas Wilson Sumter, SC; one aunt Catherine D. Baxter, Lynchburg, SC; two grandchildren, Ayania Parrott and Darrell Parrott both of Sumter, SC; two special nieces Lori Ann Bolden and Moneak M. Thomas both of Mayesville, SC; a special son Corey McFadden Sumter, SC; six sisters-in-law; a special sister-in-law Vermell M. Humes; two brothers-in-law; a host of nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, other sorrowing relatives and dear friends.
