Greencastle, PA - M. Rosalie Horchner, 76, of Greencastle, PA passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Menno Haven in Chambersburg, PA.
She was born on October 25, 1944 in Hagerstown, MD to the late Charles Victor and Mabel Lieucretia Shumaker Rowe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Eugene Horchner, Sr. on April 13, 2011.
She was a 1962 graduate of Williamsport High School in Williamsport, MD.
Rosalie was employed by Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation in Hagerstown, MD for many years until her retirement. She was previously employed with Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown, MD and Sanitary Disposal in Williamsport, MD.
She was a member of Williamsport United Methodist Church in Williamsport, MD and First United Methodist Church in Greencastle, PA.
Rosalie was a member of Potomac Post #202 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Williamsport, MD and previously a member of the Williamsport Ambulance Club Auxiliary.
She is survived by her son Charles E. "Butch" Horchner, Jr. and his wife Karen of Greencastle, PA; son Jeffrey L. "Jeff" Horchner and his wife Carolyn of Luray, VA; grandchildren Chris Horchner, Kayla Horchner and Carrie McCoy; great grandchildren Aiden Miller, Charlotte Miller, Brooklyn Hilliards, and Isaiah McCoy; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters Margaret Rhodes and Betty Harr; two brothers Homer Rowe and Charles Rowe.
The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Friday for the convenience of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 10:00 am with Rev. Dr. Ray Roberson officiating. Burial will be private.
