Lynn Allen Evans, 77, of Spencer, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 19, 2019. He was born on June 4, 1942 in White County, Indiana; the son of Ernest and Jessie (Woltzen) Evans.
Lynn served in the United State Navy. He was the owner of Riddle Tractor in Spencer for 54 years and was a member of the Brick Chapel United Methodist Church in Greencastle, IN. Lynn enjoyed riding his motorcycle and playing golf. He also was an avid Purdue and Red's fan.
Lynn is survived by his wife Jann Beck-Evans of Bainbridge, IN; son Rodney Evans and wife Lora of Bedford, IN; two grandchildren Addison Evans of Bloomington and Arie Evans of Bedford, IN; two brothers Ernest "J.R." Evans and wife Carolyn of Freedom, IN and Don Evans and wife Linda of Patricksburg, IN; and one sister Lois Padgett of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his 1st wife Rosemary (Riddle) Evans, his parents, and two brothers Jerry Evans and Larry Evans.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Fulp officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer with military rites conducted by the Owen County Honor Guard.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 3-8 PM at the funeral home.
