Lynn Gordon Daniel, 66, of Brooksville passed away at her home under the loving care of her family and Hospice on June 20, 2022. She was born in Miami, Florida and moved to Brooksville in 1960. She was proud of the fact that she resided on the same property in Lake Lindsey since moving with her parents and grandmother to Brooksville. She was
equally proud that her son, Ellwood P. Hunt IV had made the choice to come back to the original farm property to build his home and raise his family. She loved her son, his wife and his children dearly, and spent hours and hours in their company as often as possible.
All her life she loved the farm where she grew up and all the peace and tranquility it had to offer. She loved horses and grew up exploring on horseback with her sister Sue and riding with her mom & dad. Caring for the acreage where she lived was her passion. She was a country girl at heart and enjoyed bushhogging, mowing & gardening.
Lynn was a graduate of Hernando High School, class of 1974. She was loved and respected by all her classmates as well as anyone fortunate enough to have known her.
Lynn was a non-denominational Christian by faith and lived her life close to God through her belief that that God exists in all living things and beings. She used her good graces to be open-hearted and kind to everyone.
She was a co-owner of Lyric Services, Inc., a local construction company, with her husband Rick.
She is predeceased by her Parents, Fred and Nancy Gordon. Lynn’s memory will live on through her husband and best friend of 22 years, Rick of Brooksville, FL; her son: Ellwood Hunt IV and his wife, Jessica of Brooksville, FL; 5 Grandchildren: Alyssa, Drew, Audrey, Tripp and Bean; her sister: Sue van de Boogaard and her husband, Erik, of Brooksville, FL; her Brother: Clifton Gordon of Brooksville, FL; nieces/nephews: Brian, Sara, Sebastian and Nicholas.
