After graduating from high school, Lyn moved to the west coast to attend the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA. After graduating from college, Lyn started her career with the U.S Geological Survey as a Hydrological Technician with the Water Resources Division. When Mt. She wore many hats during her time there, as a Hydro Tech, staff photographer, member of the volcano monitoring team, and closed her career as an IT specialist. Lyn loved her dogs and trained them for the conformation and obedience ring. Along with dog training, she continued with her photography and loved it. After retiring, she took up birding and spent her last days at home looking out the window watching her birds.
