Lyle Waters Sr., of Langdon, ND, formerly of Montevideo, died Friday, May 29, 2020 at Tender Hearts & Helping Hands in Dilworth, MN at the age of 86.
Public visitation and viewing will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2020 from 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM at Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo. Following the guidelines put forth by the state, only 30 people will be allowed in the funeral home at a time. If you are not comfortable coming inside to pay respects, please drive up to the front door, where family can greet you. Masks are encouraged as well as social distancing guidelines to be followed.
Public graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Montevideo. Please meet at the funeral home at 1:45 PM to join the family in procession to the cemetery.
He is survived by his children, Lyndon (Carol) Waters, Watertown, SD, Lonnie (Melodee) Waters, Watertown, SD, Lori (Darrold) Schweitzer, Watertown, SD, Lisa Feil (Dave Hoffarth), Langdon, ND, Lee Waters, Crookston, MN, and Lana Waters (Michael Hayes), Fargo, ND; 19 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren; brother, George (Carol) Waters, Montevideo, MN; sisters, Beverly Hunstad, Jasper, MN, and Virginia Dally, Delano, MN; daughter-in-law, Joanie Waters, Walhalla, ND; and numerous family and friends.
Lyle was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Elaine in 1997; sons, Lyle Waters Jr., and Lance Waters; and great-grandson, Owen Bierman.
