Mabel Lurline Wright, 91, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024, at Hospitality House Personal Care in Iuka, Mississippi. She was born on June 6, 1933, to Clifton G. and Nora Lee Stephenson Prince. Lurline was devoted as a lifetime Christian. She was a longtime member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Booneville, Mississippi. Lurline was a caregiver to everybody she encountered.
A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 14, 2024, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Nichols officiating. Burial will be in New Lebanon Freewill Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 13, 2024, and from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her sons, Tommy Wright (Glenda) and Michael Wright; her daughter, Kathy Williams (Steve); her grandchildren, Kevin Wright, Cheryl Malone, Mandy Smith, Brandon Wright, Bonnie Monge, and Ami Stenson; and her 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ewell Wright; her brothers, J.W. and James Hubert; and her sisters, Hazel, Esther and Jean.
Pallbearers are Isaac Malone, Nate Smith, Kevin Wright, Brandon Wright, Bennett Wright, and Fischer Smith.
