Ludwig Anthony Rossillo, 84, of North Charleston, died Friday morning, March 26, 2021. He was born May 21, 1936, in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late Giovanni and Mary Sarao Rossillo.
He loved electronics, computers and history. He enjoyed many interests, including his constant love of learning new things.
Upon graduation and completion of R.O.T.C. training, Ludwig received his commission as Medical Officer in the U.S. Army. He served in the 2nd Army, achieving the rank of Captain. After further training, Ludwig enlisted in the United States Navy and obtained the rank of Commander.
He is survived by a brother, Ernest Rossillo, a daughter, Marielayna Rossillo, a son, Anthony Rossillo, daughter-in-law, Cynthia Rossillo, a granddaughter, Amber Rossillo, and a great-granddaughter, Mia Rossillo.
In addition to his parents, Ludwig was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Marian Clear Rossillo, son, Douglas Rossillo and his sister, Beatrice Rossillo Campanella.
A private memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.
