Lucille M. Pilgrim, 94, of Oconomowoc, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022, at Riverview Assisted Living in Watertown.
Lucille Meta Moldenhauer was born on May 25, 1927, daughter of Arnold and Esther (nee Heine) Moldenhauer. She was a 1945 graduate of Johnson Creek High School. On September 21, 1946, she was united in marriage to Merle Pilgrim at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Farmington. Merle preceded her in death on March 21, 2002. Lucille had been employed as a cook and waitress at Zwieg's Grill in Watertown for over 22 years. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, and reading. Lucille was an avid Wisconsin sports fan. Above all, Lucille loved raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lucille is survived by her children, Kathleen (David) Klug, Susan (Gerald) Breitkreutz, Christine (Gene) Bertelson, Marcia Lemke, and Lucinda (Andrew) Rosandich; twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Donna Moldenhauer and Jean Moldenhauer; as well as cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Joleen (Bert) Wade; and brothers, Eugene Moldenhauer and Merlin Moldenhauer.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Hafemeister Funeral Home with Chaplain Nick Slater officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place in the Norwegian Cemetery on Highway F in Concord. Memorials, if desired, would be appreciated to the charity of one's choice. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family.
