Lowell Richard Wells passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at the age of 84 at his home with his wife by his side.
Lowell was born on April 2, 1937, in Marion, Ohio to the late Harry and Bernice Furniss Wells. Lowell graduated in 1955 from Mount Victory High School, in Mount Victory, Ohio. He was an avid golfer. That is one of the main reasons he and his wife Kathleen moved to Myrtle Beach. He was a member of the Island Green Men's Golf League. Lowell proudly served his country in the US Army. He was fun loving, easy going and loved to tell a joke. Lowell was a member of The Loyal Order of Moose in Murrells Inlet and the American Legon Post 178. Lowell is preceded in death his brother Alfred Wells and a sister Dixie Ryon.
He is survived by the love of his life and best friend his wife of 35 years Kathleen Wells; siblings Delmar "Del" Wells and his wife Karol of Lima, Ohio; Larry Wells and his wife Nancy of Lima, Ohio; Lily Smith and her husband Gary of Kenton, Ohio and Twyla Wells of Columbus, Ohio; many nieces and nephews; his loyal companion who seems lost without him his cat Toby. He will be missed by those who had the honor of knowing him.
