Louise R. Sitton, 97, of Shirley, passed away November 5, 2019 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield, Indiana.
She was born October 12, 1922 in Milan, Michigan the daughter of the late Phillip A. and Marguerite (Peggy) (Howe) Leduc.
Louise's love was being a Mother and Grandmother, cooking, sewing, quilting and outdoors gardening. She loved her two dogs Daisy and Muffy who gave her a lot of love and company. She spent many years in the restaurant business.
Survivors include sons, Roger (Fran) Sitton of Greenfield, Jerry Sitton of Homer, Dennis (Kim) Sitton of Pendleton, John (Suzy) Sitton of Burkesville, Ky., daughters, Susan Helderbrand of Greenfield, Janice (Oren) Jarvis of Dunreith, Ruth Gosser of Shirley, twenty nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years William E. Sitton; sister, Jeanette Lazenby, two brothers, Lionel "Bill" and Albert Leduc; daughter-in-law, Sara Sitton; son-in-law, Jim Gosser.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory in Wilkinson. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 4 to 8 P.M. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery, Wilkinson. Online condolences available at stpierrefamilyfuneral.com
