Louise T. Buysse-Sibley

Louise Theresa Buysse-Sibley, 95, of South Bend passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. Louise was born in Mishawaka on August 14, 1927, to Alphonse and Florentine (Audenaert) Buysse. Louise is preceded in death by her parents and son, John Sibley. She is survived by her brother, Larry (Judy) Buysse; nieces, Lori (Pete) Dance, Lisa (Scott) King and Lesley (Mike) Szymarek, and nephew, David (Ann) Buysse.

Louise was the Mishawaka High School Homecoming Queen in 1945. Louise retired from Whitney National Bank of New Orleans after 20 years. She returned to the area in 1997 after living in Metairie, LA for 33 years.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am on Monday, June 26, 2023, at St. Bavo Church, 511 W. 7th Street, Mishawaka with Father Pete Pacini officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 am-10:45 am prior to the mass at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Louise will be entombed at Fairview Cemetery.
