Louis Alfred Thomas, Sr. 83 went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday May 28, 2022, at Riverside Hospice House in Williamsburg, VA. He was born on June 9, 1938, to the late James Willie Thomas, Sr. and Mary Lee Thomas. He worked at the Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Company for 39 years and retired from Department E45 as a Senior Engineering Analyst.Louis is survived by his wife Dorthea, his two sons Louis Jr. and Lucious Thomas, also: brothers Matthew, Dellmon Sr. and Ernestine (Evelyn) Thomas. A public viewing will be held at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 12PM until 6PM.A private funeral service will be rendered at Cary's Baptist Church in Yorktown, Va. on June 4, 2022, at 1:00PM. No more than 50 people will be allowed to enter the main sanctuary because of COVID 19. For those of you who will not be able to attend the service; can stream it live on zoom. The zoom link and streaming details will be on the Cooke Bros. website.
