Louis Kubiak, 82, went home to be with the Lord on February 21, 2021. He was born July 26, 1938 in Mt. Pleasant, PA, to the late Michael Kubiak and Ann Sullivan. Louie worked for Monsanto as an electronic technician retiring after many years of service. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Louie was a God-fearing man who enjoyed serving at Grace Church, Norton with their outreach for new visitors and working in their maintenance department. He also attended the men's Bible study. Louie was friendly, kind, trustworthy, dependable, and selfless. He enjoyed taking photos of family and friends, garage sales, and repairing bicycles all the while helping many children find a bicycle of their own. He also enjoyed playing on the church softball team.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Delores (David) Henderson, sister-in-law, Cathy Kubiak.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela of 42 years; sons, Tony (Donna) Kubiak, Brian (Sandy Parker) Palmer; daughter, Tammy (Bruce Burnsworth) Myers; brother, Michael Kubiak; sister, Rose Clarke; grandchildren, Tony Kubiak, Hannah (Joe) Oradei, Morgan (Ryan) Swain, Jack Gehres; great-grandchildren, Mason and Hailey; special friends, Bob Parfitt, Don Stevens and many others.
Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Rd. Norton, on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 2 to 4 p.m., where services will be held Monday, March 1, 2021, at 10:30 a.m., with Pastor Bob Combs officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Church, Norton, 3970 S. Cleveland-Massillon Rd, Norton, OH 44203 or to the Haven of Rest Ministries, P.O. Box 547, Akron, OH 44309 in memory of Louie. Condolences and memories can be shared with the Kubiak family at the funeral home website.
