Lorraine L. (St. Pierre) Martin, 80 of Salem, NH, died Thursday at the Hanover Hill Nursing Home, Manchester, NH.
Lorraine was born in Gorham, NH, where she grew up and was educated, attending St. Benedicts grammar school, and Notre Dame High School in Berlin, NH. She lived in Salem, NH for many years, having previously lived in Whitefield and Atkinson, NH.
Lorraine was a retired VP for Salem Cooperative Bank and previously worked Indian Head Bank in Nashua. Roger and Lorraine also owned Martin's Food Basket in Whitefield for twelve years. She was previously the chairman of the board for Morrison Skilled Nursing in Whitefield, NH. She was an avid quilter. She traveled extensively with her husband and enjoyed cruising. Lorraine and Roger in their travels met and shook hands with Pope John II.
Lorraine was predeceased by her siblings, Jeanne, Rita, Fernand, Henry, Doris, Norman, and Lucille.
She is survived by her beloved husband Roger Martin of Salem, NH
Children: Debra and her husband Mike Roberts of Salem, NH, Diane and her husband Mike Simone of Punta Gorda, FL, Nancy and her husband Stephen Dacey of Manchester, NH, and Sandra and her husband Scott Jenkins of Salem, NH

Calling hours will be held Monday, Jan. 3rd from 4-7 PM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Rd, Windham, NH. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Jan. 4th at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial will be at a later date at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester, NH.
