Lorraine Boyd Hines

Mrs. Lorraine Boyd Hines, 92, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 2:30PM, in First Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow the service in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 1:00-2:15PM, at the church. Mrs. Hines, a native of Beaufort County, had lived in Greenville all of her life; and had been employed with Burroughs-Wellcome. Surviving are her daughter, Darlene Hines Edens and husband, Randy; son, Bradley Hines; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and brother, Steve Boyd, Sr. Memorial contributions may be made to Cragmont Assembly, 1233 North Fork Road, Black Mountain, North Carolina 28711; or First Free Will Baptist Church, 2426 Charles Blvd., Greenville, North Carolina 27858.
