Loretta Freeman, 87, of Lufkin, Texas was born on May 22, 1935 in Ironto, Virginia to Helen (Perdue) and Fred E. Knoeller and passed away at Larkspur Nursing Home on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
Loretta loved to sew and collected hens on a nest. She also loved square dancing and enjoyed traveling in an RV. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Mike McCroskey from Bronson, Texas; and her son, Jeffrey Lynn Freeman from Lufkin, Texas; grandson, Duane "Frog" Stubblefield and wife Stacy of Arlington; great grandchildren, Zachary Stubblefield, Zane Stubblefield and Adalyn Stubblefield all of Arlington; sister, Shirley Wolf; sister and brother-in-law, Angela and Robert Fudge.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Kenneth Freeman who passed away in 2020; sisters, Deloris Sherman and Roberta Knoeller.
The family will have a private burial.
