Lonnie Money

Lonnie Money, 62, of rural Crothersville, Indiana, passed away at 9:58 PM peacefully at his home on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

He was born on June 28, 1962, in Seymour, Indiana, to Bill Money of Crothersville and the late Elsie Mae (Minton) Money, who preceded him in death on October 21, 2019.

On March 31, 1980, Lonnie married the love of his life, Nancy (Baker) Money, and together they shared 45 wonderful years of marriage. A devoted husband, dad, and Poppy, Lonnie was a man who found joy in simple pleasures?fishing, being outdoors, spending time with his family and friends, and enjoying a good laugh. Known for his goofy, fun-loving spirit and occasional mischief, he brought joy and smiles to those around him.

Lonnie worked as a heavy equipment operator for Force Construction and took great pride in his work before retiring in 2012. He truly enjoyed what he did and the people he worked with.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Nancy Money; his father, Bill Money; his daughter, Krystal (Daniel) Robinson; his son, Brian (Wesley) Money; and four grandchildren who lit up his world?Keegan and Kloe Robinson, and Elsie Marie and Eli Brooks Money. He also leaves behind his brother, Don W. (Rhonda) Money, and his sister, Melissa A. (Chris) Ball, all of Crothersville.

In lieu of a traditional formal service, a Celebration of Life reception will be held in honor of Lonnie at Paris Park Venue, 5900 North Mount Road, Scottsburg, IN 47170, on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 3:00 PM until dusk. All friends and family are welcome and encouraged to attend and share memories as we celebrate Lonnie's 62 years of life.

Memorial donations may be made in Lonnie's memory to the Crothersville Cemetery or the Memory Care Unit at Lake Point Village, c/o Adams Funeral Home, 110 E. Howard Street, Crothersville, IN 47229.
