On May 13, 2022 our beloved Lonna Kay Berry left this physical plane when her soul moved into the Spiritual World. She had just turned 58 on April 20, and had lived a very full and rewarding life, mostly in Santa Cruz, Ca.??Lonna will join her father Lonnie C. Berry, while her family honors and cherishes her life and memories here. Her loving and dedicated family includes husband Dan Skweir, son Taylor Pascal, daughter Kayln Martin, step daughter Tiffany Dalton, mother Linda Berry, sister Tammy Blanchard, brother Steven Berry, and grandchildren Kalia, Audrina, Calvin and Ryder.??Many people in her life remain here and will miss her dearly. Lonna had a special connection with all of her friends. Many of them will still be asking "What would Lonna say?" when dealing with challenges.??There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 4 at the Santa Cruz Portuguese Hall at 216 Evergreen Street. Guests are welcome to arrive between 1-2 pm for refreshments prior to the service. The service will commence at 2pm, with a meal and live music to follow, as Lonna loved so much.
