Lola Ione Richardson, 95, of Greeley, passed away on April 25, 2020 in Greeley, Colorado. She was born to Hugh and Fern (Carroll) Trimble on October 3, 1924 in Ault, Colorado.
She was raised in Northern Colorado and attended school in Ault, Nunn and graduated from Pierce High school. She met and later married Bud Richardson and moved to Greeley.
She worked for D.C. Royer insurance agency for over 30+ years in Greeley, Colorado until retirement.
Lola enjoyed bowling and playing card games. Above all, she adored her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her sons, Ron (Alice) Richardson and Kenny (Karen) Richardson; grandchildren, Kynda (Shannon) Wolfrom, Rhonda (Paul) Richardson, Tawnya (Landon) Thaden, Melissa (Taran) Hawkins, Jennifer (T) Fanning and Jodi (Kyle) Miller; 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Lola was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and 5 siblings.
She was a breast cancer survivor since 1996, hence memorial contributions can be made out to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Fund in Care Of Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Avenue Greeley, Colorado 80634. To leave condolences for Lola's family, www.adamsoncares.com
