Lois I Stockton, recently of Erie, Pa, currently of Akron, OH
Born in Hasting Pa, to James and Lucy Young September 7, 1932. Went to be with her family peacefully January 10,2022. Lois was one of 13 children and has one surviving brother Joseph Young of New York.
Preceded in death by husband, Peter Quirk; second husband, Duane Stockton; and her three sons, Patrick, Perry and Timothy Quirk.
Lois is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Gerald) Kunkel of Akron, Oh, Theresa(George) Graham, Magdalen(Lou) Fitch, Coleen Rackow, Lisa(Chris) Firment, Kathryn(Bruce) Kubacki all of Erie, PA. She also has multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Lois worked for 30 yrs as an injection molder for JCI.
Lois was always up for a trip to new places with her sisters Mim and Loretta, and a few of her nieces. Lois was an awesome cook and baker, she hosted many family dinners.
She was a member of St John the Baptist church for many years, Christian Science Church and became a member of Blessed Trinity Church of Akron, Ohio in 2018.
Mass at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Akron Oh 2/18/22 at 11am
Family and friend visitation at 10am prior to services.
Memorial Mass at St Casmirs at 11am, 2/20//22 with family and friends visitation at 10a prior to services, Erie Pa. Internment at Gate of Heaven, Erie, Pa. Immediately following.
Donations in lieu of flowers to Blessed Trinity Food Bank, St. Jude's children's hospital or a charity of your choice..
