Lois A. Buerger (nee Ruf), 79 of Cold Spring, KY, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022, in Ft. Thomas, KY. Lou was a retiree of Campbell County Schools as a bus driver and Transit Authority of N. KY as a supervisor. She was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and UK Basketball. She was a great mom, wife and grandmother who loved her family dearly. Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Leroy , and Dorothy (nee Meyer) Ruf of Foster, KY, one sister, Alta Jean Frodge and her first husband, Frank Houston. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Buerger; three children, Dan (Michele) Houston of Brooksville, KY, Gina (Richard) Bray of Butler, KY, and Chris (Darcy) Houston of California, KY; ten grandchildren: Samantha Bray, Kaitlyn (Colton) Sharp, Nathan (Amber) Schoulthies, Jacob Houston, Logan Houston, Kyle (Hannah) Houston, Grady Houston, Sarah Houston, Baylee Albers, and Jason Albers; one great-granddaughter, Chloe Sharp. Visitation Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Saint Mary of the Assumption Church from 9:00 AM -10:45 AM with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow in the Alexandria Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
