Lita Talus (nee Staffin) passed away on July 3, 2022, at age 94. Lita was an avid reader, talented painter and competitive, life master level bridge player even in her 90s. She lived all 94 years of her life to the fullest with the most positive attitude and outlook. She would enjoy a big glass of wine or dirty martini while socializing, loved to go to and host dinner parties, often with friends who were decades younger, and she loved spending time with her family. Lita is survived by her loving daughter, Cheryl Talus Snyder; her brother, Dr. Gerry Staffin; and her daughter-in-law, Jill Talus Grossman. Grandmother of Karen (Scott) Merves, Jodi (Brett) Rosen, Marc (Allison) Snyder, Zachary (Amy) Talus, and Benjamin (Allie) Talus. Great grandmother of Brandon, Sydney, and Gavin Merves, Jackson and Kate Rosen, and Simone and Vivian Snyder. She is predeceased by her late husband, Burt Talus, and her son, Dr. Bruce Lloyd Talus.Services will be held on Sunday, July 10th at Congregation Beth Or, 239 E. Welsh Road, Maple Glen, PA 19002. Shiva will be held immediately following the service until 8:00 p.m. and again on Monday night from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the home of Marc and Allison.
