TRISKA FUNERAL HOME
Lisa Dianne Respondek-Holt, 50, of El Campo, passed away November 8, 2024 after a long battle with metastatic breast cancer. She was initially diagnosed at 32 years old and was in remission until she turned 39. Her second battle lasted 11 years.
She was born in Laredo, Tx October 1, 1974 to Frank and Dianne Van Dyke Respondek. She attended El Campo schools from K - High School.
She is survived by Mother, Dianne Appling, Daughter, Michaela Holt, Brother Todd Eric Respondek (Holly), Step Brother, Mike Appling, Jr., (Leslie), Step Brother George Appling, (Brian), numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Respondek, Stepfather, Michael Appling, Sr., Grandparents Joe and Hazel Van Dyke, and Frank and Nettie Respondek.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, November 13 at Triska Funeral Home. Funeral services begin at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 14 at Christ Lutheran Church with the Rev. Wayne Clement officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Todd Respondek, Mike Appling, Jr., George Appling, Travis Cobb, J.J. Croix, and Derral Garret, Jr.
