Lisa K. Morley Rabal
How do you know Lisa? Please share your stories and photos, and help spread the word about this page!
Lisa Rabal, 47, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, friend and woman of God, entered the presence of Jesus on January 7, 2022. She was born April 3, 1974 in Lynchburg, Virginia to Franklin and Patricia Morley.
Lisa loved and was devoted in her faith to the Lord Jesus Christ. In high school and college her devotion led to her involvement in numerous local, national, and international service ministry trips. She served in her local church through volunteer leadership of children's ministries, Christian education, and missions committee work. While on campus at the University of Akron, she co-led the InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. She applied her degree in Education as a teacher in elementary schools as well as English as a Second Language (ESL) settings. Evidence of her faith was seen through a sweet spirit she conveyed to those she encountered and a steadfast perseverance through challenges she faced.
Being a mother to Samuel was the great joy of her life. Together they created adventures from beaches to trails, festivals to music performances. In recent years Lisa proudly supported the Lake High School "Blue Streak" Marching Band - and particularly the Tuba section - where Samuel has played for 4 years. Lisa delighted in being a mother and rejoiced over the life of her son Samuel (visibly, audibly, on Facebook and elsewhere - ha!)
Family and friends will remember her joy in participating in events together and her desire to create loving connections with others. She was actively involved at The Chapel and enjoyed the connections there specifically with her young singles group. Shared time with friends who are true sisters and brothers in the Lord enriched her life greatly and she sought to contribute to their lives as well.
Lisa is survived by her beloved son, Samuel Rabal; parents, Mike and Pat Morley; brothers, Mike (Karlie) and Steve (Rachael) Morley; as well as her precious nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; who are all deeply saddened that she is no longer with us here.
We know our Dearest Lisa is now well and lives fully in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
