Lisa Langluttig Lohr, 63, of Grassy Meadows, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at her home following a sudden illness.
Born July 3, 1961, in Annapolis, Maryland, she was the daughter of Annee Azar of Naples, Florida, and the late Edgar L. Langluttig, Jr.
Lisa worked as a surgical technologist prior to moving to the mountains of West Virginia, where she found herself and developed a true sense of happiness surrounded by nature. Living on a small mountain farm, she enjoyed taking care of her animals; gardening; and baking. Lisa turned her passions into another source of income, setting up a booth at Sam Black's Cowboy Market each Friday, where she sold her eggs, pastries, jams, and her fan favorite sourdough bread. She fell in love with the pioneering experience and the great people of West Virginia. Lisa was a devout Christian.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband of 40 years, Jeffrey Lohr; three children Adam, Joshua, and Mandy; three siblings Edgar Langluttig, III, Allan Stastny (Shannon) both of Maryland and Marie Langluttig of Virginia; six grandchildren Hunter, Daelyn, Brock, Addie, Berkley, and Charlie; and a host of extended family; and friends.
The Interment took place at the Grassy Meadows Farm on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
