Ms. Lindsy Nicole Jungkurth, age 30, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on July 25, 1991 in Evansville, Indiana as a blessing to the home of Pastor Randy L. Jungkurth and Terri Massengill Jungkurth. Being born into a United Methodist minister's home meant several moves in Lindsy's early life. The family spent time in Vincennes, Corydon, and Charlestown during her childhood before they came to Madison, Indiana when she was entering middle school. From this point in her life, she spent most of her years in Madison and loved it dearly as her own home town. She was especially fond of the downtown shops and river walk. Lindsy was loved in the churches where her family served, and like any child, she enjoyed bonding with friends. Once she befriended anyone, she was with them through thick and thin with no regard to what it might cost her. She was compassionate, loving, a sensitive spirit, and a champion for the "underdog." Her kind heart and sweet hugs will be missed by all who knew her. Lindsy's fierce kindness also extended to dogs. She owned several dogs through the years and loved them like family including her most recent canine friend, Neiko. She worked a number of places through the years including Anytime Fitness, KDH food service, as a waitress, and as a home care giver for the elderly. Lindsy will be remembered as a fierce defender of the weak and needy, a free spirit, and a devoted family member and friend. Lindsy died on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at her home in Madison, Indiana. Lindsy will be missed by her loving parents, Pastor Randy L.
