Erlewein Mortuary
Linda Sue (Weimer) Willett, age 67, of Spiceland, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022 at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson. She was born in Beech Grove on July 11, 1955 to Virginia (Meyers) and Larry Weimer. Linda was a 1973 graduate of Manual High School in Indianapolis. On November 29, 1980, she married Stephen "Steve" Willett in Indianapolis.
For many years, she was a computer operator at AFNB and Mayflower. Linda also worked as a waitress at Jim Dandy for over 10 years. She was an active member at Calvary Baptist Church, where she served as past secretary and helped with various church activities. In her free time, Linda liked gardening and loved spending time with both her family and church family.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 42 years Steve of Spiceland; children, Tim Willett (Stacy) of Greenfield, Angela Hutchinson of Greenfield, Jeff Willett (Kim) of Greenfield, and Daniel Willett of Spiceland; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Roseanne Shockley of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews; and best friend, Ginny Shelton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia and Larry.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 1450 W Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Roger Kinion officiating. Burial will follow at Circle Grove Cemetery in Spiceland. Arrangements are being handled by Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the Riley Children's Foundation, 500 N. Meridian Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46204 and Calvary Baptist Church, 1450 W Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140, or envelopes will be available at the church.
