Linda W. Schudlich, age 81, of Alpharetta, Georgia, formally of Reno, Nevada, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, with her family by her side. Linda was born on July 21, 1940, in Flint, Michigan, a daughter to the late Roger and Hilda Lucke.
Linda graduated from Central Michigan University where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Education. In June 1966, she married Gary Schudlich and the two shared a life time of love and memories together. Linda was retired from the Washoe County School District where she was a high school business teacher at McQueen High School. Before McQueen's opening, she taught at both Hug and Reed High School. Linda loved skiing but was more well known for her golf game coaching McQueen's ladies golf teams. In her retirement, she participated in the Northern Nevada Golf Association, several Women's Golf Clubs, and was a tournament golfer. Along with being an avid golfer, she also enjoyed bowling and later even took up boxing to stay active. Linda was a wonderful teacher, wife, mother, grandmother and friend; she will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Along with her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Schudlich, and one brother, David Lucke. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Schudlich and Tim Jackson of Alpharetta; grandchildren, Laura and Nick; and step-grandchildren, Clay and Cole.
