Linda Sartino passed away peacefully at her place of residency in Joliet on August 1, 2023. She was provided loving and compassionate care from Lightways Hospice and Home Instead. Linda was born on October 24, 1953 in Rockford, IL to Fred and Darlene (nee Faber) Full. Linda was raised in Rockford and attended Boylan Central Catholic High graduating in 1971. She married Joseph Sartino on October 30, 1976 and spent 35 years working in the Health insurance industry. The majority of her career was spent working for Aetna Life Insurance where she met many lifelong friends. In 2010 Linda moved to Joliet, IL and later divorced Joseph Sartino in 2011. They continued to remain close friends and business partners. While in Joliet, Linda met and resided with her loving partner Ron for 12 years until her passing. Linda had many interests and was an amazing interior decorator that could put most of the HGTV celebrities to shame. Her talents extended to the outdoors and she created beautiful landscaping that neighbors would stop and give compliments to her on a daily basis. Linda enjoyed boating, traveling, their lakeside cabin in Ohio and of course shopping and spending time with her family. Linda is survived by her loving partner Ron, her ex-husband Joseph Sartino, her brother Fred (Chrissie) Full, granddaughter shealee Decker, three nephews Nick (Michelle) Full, Trent (Monica) Full and Travis (Greta and Mable) Full, great-niece Victoria Full, great-nephew Alexander Full, and cousin Mary Cosgrove. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Darlene Full, sister Bonnie Full, stepdaughter Whitney Gaspar, and father-in-law Harlan Kinney. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 4, 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Jude, 2212 McDonough, Joliet. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass at the church. The Funeral Mass is for immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to Lightways Hospice Care, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431.
