Mrs. Linda L. Reis, age 75 of Robinson, IL passed away Sunday August 28, 2022, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family, following a long period of declining health.
Born August 10, 1947, in Robinson, IL she was the daughter of Donald Wayne and Dolores (Brush) Osborn. On June 22, 1974, she married Edward L. Reis, and he survives.
Linda was a Cheer Leader and graduate of Robinson High School, Robinson, IL. She and Ed were members of the St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Robinson, IL and Linda was a member of the Minerva Club and the Catholic Women's Auxiliary. Before her health forced her to retire, Linda worked for several banks in the Crawford County area, including 2nd National Bank, Crawford County State Bank and the 1st Robinson Savings Bank along with being a homemaker and mother and grandmother.
Survivors include son Christopher Reis and companion Lora Limbert, Cape Girardeau, MO, son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Erin Reis, Raleigh, NC; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Clark Myers, Robinson, IL; eleven grandchildren, Cameron Reis, Carter Reis, Lola Reis, Cohen Reis, Alexandra Reis, Grayson Reis, Leah Reis, Madalyn Myers, Noah Myers, Ali Myers and Wyatt Myers; brother-in-law, Tony Reis, Charleston, IL, Sisters-in-law, Glenda Schwartz, Effingham, IL and Anita Steber, Olney, IL, along with many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Don and Delores Osborn; father in-law and mother-in-law, Gene and Zita Reis; sister-in-law, Carole Helregel and brother-in-law, Jim Steber.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday September 3, 2022, at 12:00 Noon at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Robinson, IL. Visitation will be Friday September 3, 2022, at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL from 9:00 AM until time of services at 12:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow services in the Robinson New Cemetery, Robinson, IL.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church Renovation Fund with envelopes available at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL and at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, 207 E. Walnut Street, Robinson, IL.
