Born to Eternal Life unexpectedly on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at the age of 70. Loving sister of Sandy (Hector), Hernandez, Joe Kraus, and Janet (Chris) McFerren. Dear aunt of Alan (Meredith), Andy, Joey (Edyta), James (Andrea), Travis (Kayla), Ashley, and Sam. Great aunt of Kellen, Cora, Jazmyne, Dominic, Olivia, Sebastian, and Tatum. Loving niece of Betty Montgomery. Devoted caretaker to Tammi Priebe. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ruby Kraus, and her brother Hal Kraus.
Linda leaves a legacy of warmth and devotion that will forever be cherished by those who knew her. Linda's life was a testament to her love for the Lord, which she expressed through her dedicated attendance at Sunday services, weekly Bible studies, and her cherished over 50's get-togethers. Do not try and change her Christian radio station.
Family was the cornerstone of Linda's world. She reveled in the joy of family holidays, the beauty of weddings, and the simple pleasure of birthdays. "The cousins' lunch," a monthly tradition, was among her most treasured times, as it brought together the family, she held so dear. Linda's love extended beyond her family, touching the lives of all who crossed her path. She was a caregiver her entire life, working at Welbourne House, Marquardt Manor and most recently as a caregiver in her home for the last 15 plus years. As one cousin said, "Our families were deeply touched by her life. A life of selflessly serving others. She spent her life caring for those who couldn't care for themselves."
Linda loved sunflowers, the thrill of hot air balloons, and the heartwarming narratives of Hallmark movies. Each interest reflected her optimistic outlook and her appreciation for life's simple pleasures.
