MONTGOMERY, TX - Linda Ann Groner, age 63, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2023, in Montgomery, TX.
She was born on May 17, 1960, in Albany, Georgia, to Karl and Mary Wuest.
Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. While she was a little shy and didn't seek the spotlight, she had a heart of gold and would go above and beyond for her loved ones. Linda's sweet and caring nature endeared her to everyone she met.
She was an avid fan of the Houston Astros, and her love for animals led her to foster nearly a dozen golden retrievers.
Linda is survived by her mother, Mary Wuest; her devoted husband, Matthew Groner; her daughter, Alaina Franco; her son, Andrew Groner; her granddaughters, Marcela and Isabel Franco; and her brothers, Douglas and Lewis Wuest. She was preceded in death by her father, Karl Wuest.
A Celebration of Linda's life will be held at Grace Chapel Assembly of God on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. located at 31101 FM 2978, Magnolia, TX 77354. Following the service, a gathering to honor Linda's memory will take place at the Turner residence, 125 Lyndsey Dr, Montgomery, TX 77316.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to Golden Beginnings Golden Retriever Rescue, a cause that was close to Linda's heart.
Linda Ann Groner's legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in eternal peace.
