Linda Lucille Goodrich, age 65 of Britton, MI, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Trinity Health-St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ypsilanti, MI. She was born on September 15, 1957 in Tecumseh to Kenneth M. and Marilyn J. (Relyea) Myers. She married John Goodrich on June 20,1975 and they shared 48 years together.
Linda was raised in Butterfield Twp. and attended grade school in Merritt and high school in Lake City. After her marriage, she and John lived in many places before settling in Britton, MI. Linda was a self-employed housekeeper for many years and also worked for Shar Products before retiring early due to medical reasons. Some of Linda's favorite things were spending time with family, rock hunting for Petoskey and Pudding Stones, and Pink Floyd music. She went to the Division Bell concert in 1994 at the silver Dome in Pontiac and loved to talk about it.
Linda in survived by her husband; John, her mother; Marilyn Myers, her son; Lucas and Joshua (Kristi Clark) Goodrich, Grandchildren; Joslynn and Kaitlynn Goodrich, siblings; Gary (Rose Sublett), Cheryl Winrick, Marjorie (Stacy Wagner), Kenneth R (Tammy Klingler) Myers, Sisters-in-law; Donna Ledbetter, Marlene Dixon, Sandy Carrigan, Rhonda (Dale) Shaw, Diane Palmer, Brother-in-law; Jerry (Paula) Goodrich, aunts; Marjorie Relyea and Marilyn R Myers and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Linda was preceded in death by her father; Kenneth Myers, infant son; Jason Goodrich, father and mother-in-law; Claude and Beatrice Goodrich, sisters-in-law; Shirley Bowers, and Marilyn Pardee, brother-in-law; Gary Goodrich, aunts; Neomia Hartman and Darlene Feldkamp.
In accordance with Linda's wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Life will be be held at Merritt Auction House, in Merritt, MI, on June 29th from 12-3 p.m.
