Tulia, Texas?Linda Foster, 80, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, October 22, 2021, in the First Baptist Church with Rev. John Gillespie and Rev. Charles Davenport officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Linda was born on December 26, 1940, in Tulia to Cecil and Juanita Gould. She grew up in Tulia and graduated from Tulia High School in 1960. Linda attended beauty school in Lubbock to become a hairdresser. She loved her work, she loved her clients, she loved life. She was a hairdresser for over 50 years. "Nawny" as everyone called her, loved her husband Dennis, she loved her son, Brad, her grand kids, Jennifer and Justin and her great grandkids, Nathan, Payton, Pecos, and Kendall. She was very active in all their activities. She was also known as the 'energizer bunny', as she was always on the go and hardly ever slowed down. She loved her church and her church family, her Sunday school class and was very active in VBS each year. Linda loved flowers, she loved the farm and she loved to sew, making hundreds of quilts to give away. Linda loved life. She is preceded in death by her parents, her grandson; Justin Bradley and her mother-in-law; Nora Foster. She is survived by her husband: Dennis Foster of Kress, her son: Brad Bradley of Tulia, her brother: Robert Gould and wife Jody of Tulia, her granddaughter: Jennifer Van Beek and husband Jake of Dalhart and her great grandchildren: Nathan Van Beek, Payton Van Beek, Pecos Bradley and Kendall Sturgess.
